+ More Information
Studio Juju was founded by Timo Wong and Priscilla Lui to practise design across disciplines in furniture, products and spaces. Practice Theory was approached to design a new website and identity that better conveys Studio Juju’s intuitive design sensibilities, and in a format that responds to their increasing breadth of commissioned projects and clientele.
The new website allows the user to wander through the contents and discover the design language of Studio Juju at a casual pace. The homepage displays a curation of Studio Juju’s best works, laid out in a way that extends beyond the viewable area of the screen. A visitor has to manually navigate the page to view all the work, much like how one would instinctively explore Studio Juju’s spaces or objects.
The individual project pages are designed with a flexible content management system that supports various layouts across different projects, easily accommodating both visual- and narrative-led approaches in showcasing the projects. We also worked with Timo and Priscilla to individually spray paint their new business cards to evoke a tactile and emotive quality that is often observed in Studio Juju’s work.
